      Some risk and luck at play here. The tracks belong to the CN Rail. During the days I explored them it hadn’t occurred to me that walking along them might actually be tresspassing. I did it as innocently as the children I found playing around them, and other citizens using them as pedestrian lanes and crossing them in places where there aren’t any streets.

      The safety and liability factors are why the CN Police stepped up their survellance and enforcement operations in 2013. That year, the rails were becoming places for arson and open air drug trafficking. By that time I was long done visiting the tracks. I haven’t travelled down them since.
