  1. I would recognise your photos among hundreds of others. It has to do with the way you use light to show only partly the subjects in your shots. Yes, this definitely says: pause/thought.

    • I wanted to isolate the man and the ambulance in mostly darkness to make them prominent, yet keep the wall in the background exposed enough to reveal its brickwork. I want the literal brick wall to metaphysically create emotional tension with the impression of a barrier being present.

      I saw the old man there struggling with his thoughts.
