A Modes of Flight Street Photography Project
Futuristic beautiful. I like the light and them modern lines. Beautiful.
This is the Burlington Street underpass. The same that I shot for “Through Behemoth’s Bones”:
This time the view is in the opposite direction, and with traffic backed up due to heavy construction.
It’s a really humdrum feature of the city but I try to find creative ways of looking at it. This time around, I went very abstract.
Haha…I followed the link…. and so the magic is over. The reality came.
Fabulous building blocks of light and dark!
I love playing with such elements; pushing the contrast whenever I can exploit it. I use it as a way to try to make a mundane place or situation suddenly seem interesting. It’s hit and miss. Sometimes I don’t achieve the goal. It helps when the scene has faceted and segmented physical features that lend themselves to the right light and deep shadows or silhouettes.
excellent contrast and beautiful 🙂
Much appreciated, Joshi.
