  1. This is a wonderful shot. Love the BW composition, and great illumination of all those seats. Looks like he is intent on the game…and he probably feels like he is lost in his own world all by himself doing what he loves.

    • A lawyer who saw this had an interesting reaction; she found it to be a very sad image because he appears to be getting ready to watch the game alone. That’s what she said; “Oh, that’s so sad.” I didn’t expect such a reaction. It goes to show how a shot can impact people differently.

  2. Fantastic sense of fan passion in this shot Allan! Interested to read earlier comment re – how sad and lonely looking when it is almost always assumed that one lone person in a shot such as this (restaurant, cafe etc etc) is automatically lonely. A projection of fear perhaps?
