A Modes of Flight Street Photography Project
The flying man with perfect balance.
He makes me think of eagles.
Yes, you have right.
Skate or die.
I can hear him!
I hear down whining turbofans, and the skidding sound of jet plane wheels as they set down on a runway!
Perfect title as all around him were ‘settled’ into their own routines except him.
His arrival breaks the monotony of urban living.
I love the exchange of glances with the skateboard action in the background.
I love the visual interaction between the man in the foreground, the skater and the guy to the far right, none aware of each other (I think the guy to the right is looking at you, the photographer). One could even add the person in front of the buss in the equation. All dressed in black (at least in the black and white version), all preoccupied with their own things. A slice of urban life. Very nice.
Urban balletic concert.
