A Modes of Flight Street Photography Project
This is excellent with the addition of a figure crossing the road! Was that a coincidence?
Not exactly. Originally intending to produce an image more like a landscape, I didn’t plan to include any figures but I knew that the street was busy enough with pedestrians that it was likely that people would cross the street during some of my exposures.
There were a number of shots like this that I made but this is the one that was taken most viscerally and meeting the expectations of street photography. So, this one made it into Hammer Home.
This composition has similar atmosphere and mood to ”One Chilly Winter Morning.”
Yes, sometimes unplanned shots can produce the best. Thanks for the link – One Chilly Winter morning. Your poem is evergreen and some interesting comments too. It is a delicate Balancing act indeed.
Very moody. It’s something like film noir about it, or some horror movie.
You know me, alright! I love the film noire look.
